The Board of Ballet Pacifica announces that the assets of Ballet Pacifica, comprising tangible and intangible assets as defined by the terms and notice released April 13, 2007 and updated April 16, 2007, have been sold to the highest bidder of the auction as an "as is," single "lot" to the following entity:

The Nutcracker
at the Irvine Barclay Theatre
December 14-23, 2007

Festival Ballet Theatre’s ever-popular production of The Nutcracker will be presented this year at the Irvine Barclay Theatre. With opulent sets and elegant choreography, FBT’s Nutcracker is an enchanting production that is accessible to theatergoers of all ages. It is a classic rendition of the familiar tale of Clara and her whimsical journey through the Land of Sweets where she learns about life, love and the holiday spirit.

Special guest artists from American Ballet Theatre
Gillian Murphy, principal, and Gennadi Saveliev, soloist, will perform on December 14th, 15th and 16th. American Ballet Theatre's Irina Dvorovenko, principal, and Maxim Beloserkovsky, principal, will perform on December 22nd and 23rd

A history infused with the flavors of international guest stars, Festival Ballet Theatre celebrates 20 years of dance in Orange County through a gala tribute featuring its company dancers, world-renowned guest artists from American Ballet Theatre and San Francisco Ballet, children of Southland Ballet Academy, and special guests from the Upper Division of the Royal Ballet School (UK).

Performed in the intimate setting of Irvine Barclay Theatre, program highlights include a varied repertory of classical and contemporary ballet.
